How to export markers from Premiere Pro
Premiere Pro can include marker information as export metadata for supported outputs. That is different from producing a readable list of marker names, comments and timestamps. Marker Hub is designed for the second workflow.
Choose metadata export or a marker list
Use Premiere’s metadata option when markers need to travel with or beside the rendered file. Use a list export when a producer, reviewer or editor needs timestamps and written notes in a separate handoff.
These outputs are not interchangeable: embedded or sidecar metadata is designed for compatible software, while a marker list is designed for people and downstream documentation.

Include sequence markers in an export
Confirm the marker type
Identify whether the notes are sequence markers or clip markers. Adobe states that a sequence export includes sequence markers; clip markers on clips in that sequence are not included.
Open export metadata options
In Export mode, review Metadata and enable marker inclusion if the selected format and workflow support it.
Choose the metadata output
Depending on the format, Premiere may embed metadata, create an XMP sidecar, or offer a combination. Test the receiving application before delivery.

Common marker-export problems
- Sequence-marker metadata does not automatically include clip markers placed on clips in the sequence.
- Metadata support depends on output format and the receiving application.
- A list export does not recreate Premiere markers in another project unless the receiving workflow explicitly supports that import format.
